W czwartym dniu naszych zajęć w szkole goszczącej omawialiśmy dwa ciekawe tematy. W części pierwszej zajęć mówiliśmy o zasadach demokratycznego państwa. Poznaliśmy kilka ważnych terminów: demokracja pośrednia i bezpośrednia, demokratyzacja, wybory, referendum, plebiscyt, inicjatywa ludowa, recall. Zastanawialiśmy się, czy w dzisiejszych czasach możliwa jest demokracja na wzór antycznej? Obejrzeliśmy prezentację na temat historii demokracji. Dokonywaliśmy oceny stanu demokracji w Polsce i Włoszech. Po rozluźniającym quizie przeszliśmy do drugiego tematu dnia - praw człowieka.Prowadzący zajęcia wyjaśnili przy pomocy ciekawej prezentacji: czym są prawa człowieka; co oznacza podział praw człowieka na trzy generacje: niezbywalne, przyrodzone, powszechne. Po obejrzeniu kilku ciekawych filmów na temat początków tworzenia pierwszych dokumentów dotyczących ochrony praw człowieka, rozwiązywaliśmy quiz związany z powyższym tematem. Kolejny film o pogwałceniu praw człowieka – małżeństwa nieletnich - wywarł na nas silne wrażenie. Po obejrzeniu powyższych filmów formułowaliśmy wnioski i odpowiedzi na pytanie jaka jest rola praw człowieka we współczesnym świecie. Po kolejnym dniu wytężonej pracy udaliśmy się na wspólny posiłek, a w godzinach popołudniowych udaliśmy się do nadmorskiej miejscowości Agrigento. Zwiedziliśmy dolinę pięknych świątyń po czym podziwialiśmy zachód słońca z widokiem na morze i Schody Turków. Udany dzień zakończyliśmy kolacją:)
On the fourth day of our classes at the host school, we discussed two interesting topics. In the first part of the lesson, we talked about the principles of a democratic state. We got to know some important terms: direct and indirect democracy, democratization, elections, referendum, plebiscite, people's initiative, recall. We wondered if a democracy similar to the ancient one is possible nowadays? We watched a presentation on the history of democracy. We assessed the state of democracy in Poland and Italy.
After a relaxing quiz, we moved on to the second topic of the day - human rights. The lecturers made an interesting presentation which provided answers to some most important questions: What are human rights? What the division of human rights into three generations mean: inalienable, innate, universal. After watching some interesting videos about the beginnings of creating the first documents on the protection of human rights, we took the quiz related to the above topic. Another film about the violation of human rights - the marriage of minors - made a strong impression on us. After watching the above-mentioned films, we made conclusions and gave answers to the question: What is the role of human rights in the modern world? After another day of hard work, we went for a meal, and in the afternoon we visited the seaside town of Agrigento. We went sightseeing in the spectacular valley of ancient temples and admired the sunset with a view of the sea and the Stairs of the Turks. We ended a successful day with a typical Italian dinner :)
